Denny's has been 24/7 forever — but for years it lived as a footnote on the storefront, not a brand idea. The brief was to turn a feature into a feeling: make "always open" mean something more than operating hours.
The insight started with the sign itself. The Denny's logo is so iconic, you recognize it out of focus. After miles on the road, in a half-awake state, that blurred yellow shape tells you everything before you can read it. The campaign reframed 24/7 around the emotional truth behind it — Denny's isn't just open when you want something. It's open when you need it.
The visual carried the idea all the way through: the iconic logo, deliberately blurred, paired with a single line. Open when you need it. 24/7.
